Matsumoto Castle is one of five castles designated as a national treasure of Japan. It is the oldest five-tiered six-story castle in existence. The building is also known as the "Crow Castle" due to its black exterior. It was the seat of Matsumoto Domain under the Edo Period Tokugawa shogunate. www.muttiah.com
